The ones that come inside the box

Very interesting, some of my friends who have listened to both say otherwise, that the ZM2 is definitely better by some margin. I guess I have to purchase one and see for myself. Paired with the Sony Kimber and OG WM1Z, the sound you get is fantastic. The M9 has the potential to be even better...

I'm considering the 1ZM2. Do you recommend it %100? Already have the HIBY RS8 so not sure if it's better

I use the foams. WM1Z + Kimber cable + M9 is a special experience in my book.

Sony doesn't provide review samples. The only exception was the NW-WM1Z when I reviewed it in 2017. They got it back after loaning it for 2 months. I also reviewed the WM1A but that was my personal unit. We have approached some contacts from Sony for a few years about their signature series...

I agree, though it's technically better, especially with sharper imaging capability.

Make sure it's properly driven. It might seem like an easy to drive headphone, but it scales really well with a powerful amplifier.

So, I've been listening to the PMG Apx for a week now, and I've got to say, this is a whole new level in terms of portable sound. It is on the brighter side but what it does best is the insane PRaT performance. The quickness that it delivers feels like electrostatic systems. Noble Viking Ragnar...

I get your point indeed. However, the VE10 is extremely sensitive, it picks up noise from the RS8 as well, which is supposed to be a high-end unit. If the sound quality is fantastic like in the Tsuranagi, that is not a big issue in my view. The amp is for desktop listening for sure. It's not...

The Z1R is like an exotic sports car that couldn't get the appreciation in its release for whatever reason, but rather became more valuable and more appreciated later on.

After many years since I tested it, I found one in great condition. Finally :wink:
