The discovery thread!
After a loooong wait, the wired Svanar Jr finally arrived this morning. Initial listening impressions are very good, somewhat like a warmer, thicker RE2000 Silver and possibly the most comfortable IEM I've ever worn, they just melt in your ears, amazing. Breaking them in for 24 hours before...- chickenmoon

I've done it, just purchased the bugger, couldn't resist the attractive sales price. :) For those who wait for a Svanar Jr impression, it's still in transit, they sent it via Post Netherland and this always takes forever, it's in Amsterdam now and ready to ship so hopefully I’ll have it this...- chickenmoon

It's a wired set. Two stores have it, one at a great discount. From what I gather it's distributed in Asia only.- chickenmoon

Quick update on the Himalaya: as to reduce the amount of warmth/bass I tried blocking the back vents completely but this killed the bass completely and wasn't nice so I ended using two layer of paper micropore tape on these vents and it seems it reduces the warmth a bit, it could also be that I...- chickenmoon

So you did not find it excessively warm but had to do something to tighten the bass and clean up its too much resonance and decay, too funny. 😄- chickenmoon

The back vents, not the front ones, blocking these generally reduces the amount of bass.- chickenmoon

It's not a bad IEM, and yes it's probably miles ahead of the Lofty, just way too warm for me, I'm probably going to block the back vents and see if it reduces the bass enough for me to enjoy them for longer than 20 minutes. Graphs don't tell the whole story, especially when it comes to bass as...- chickenmoon

NiceHCK Himalaya Tanchjim Origin TinHifi T5s Kefine Delci Truthear Zero Red 7Hz Zero 2 Damage is £550 so far, might still pick (or not) Intuaura Splendor, Simgot EA500 LM, SonicMemory SW2, CCA Trio and passing on the Timsok for now. No phenomenal deal that I've noticed but decent rebates...- chickenmoon

They did it to me two days in a row with the OD200, I genuinely thought the driver twice attempted delivery at a wrong address and then I contacted customer service fearing they wouldn't try to redeliver again as they state on their website they only attempt to deliver twice. Frankly quite...- chickenmoon

So far, with little break-in, listening to EDM only and default nozzles and tips, my prefered/best ranking would be: OD200 > EA1000 > Falcon Ultra- chickenmoon
