    Subtonic STORM: Impressions and Discussion

Not a measurement error! On the 5128 it should also show a high Q dip around that region. We tuned that high Q, narrow-band dip to reduce the intensity of cymbals whilst avoiding a muted treble so it STORM's cymbals still sound realistic! We've compared hundreds of STORM iterations before it...

A big thank you to everyone that came down for CJ SG 2024! We're really humbled that so many people took their time to come down and test the STORM. Many of you told me in person that you flew exclusively just to try STORM! Really glad that to hear that it was the star of the show. Thank you...

    Subtonic STORM: Impressions and Discussion

We hear you all! We will showcase the current STORM design for the upcoming CanJam Singapore show as well. Will gather feedback see what aesthetic tweaks we should make. Redesigning the faceplate was not a simple process in the past year due to CNC limitations with titanium. We won't let you...

    Subtonic STORM: Impressions and Discussion

Hey everyone! Here to drop an update on what's going on lately. We are pushing back our launch date for the RE STORM to February. We've been away at work tweaking with colour and finishing options on the metal faceplates. It has proven difficult to get exactly what we are looking for; but...

I get quite a fair amount of slam with Bonneville! I like the bass and lower midrange tone a lot. I think it probably has good potential in CIEM form. Surprised you didnt get one ;)

Yep; sonically identical. Changes made to the faceplate and pouches! The new project will target a lower price point. However the same still applies - no compromises sonically. It will be very different from the STORM and serve a different purpose in our line-up.

One interesting thing to throw into the mix is that DDs are more leakage tolerant than BAs. BAs lose a loooooot of bass (can be -5dB or more, as shown in 5128) when the seal is even slightly weaker than optimal. While even the most seasoned of IEM veterans like to think that they can achieve...

Left is the updated faceplate! We widened the widths of the yellows and created deeper grooves in the black. The enamel now catches more light so it looks more multi-dimensional. This faceplate update is free for any STORM owner - they've all been offered the complementary upgrade. Side note -...

    Precog's IEM Reviews & Impressions

I don't think so. Son Woo-hyun is looking more and more like precog

The ASP is really good. It pairs excellently with single DDs. One of my favourite audio memories was pairing the amp with an Acoustune 16xx series iem. Expanded the soundstage like crazy. The amp is pretty prone to noise though. When adjusting the knob/volume you can hear feedback in the IEM
