Somehow I start want to experiment with other copper cable. Between norne draug 3 or forza (whatever the type). Anyone tried both of them with VO?
@KPzypher
Do you mind posting a link of the product that you used? I would like to maintain my VC camphor burl and clean in up.
Thank you
Here you go. I believe this is what @zach915m recommends.
Per ZMF website,
Most ZMF Headphones use Lacquer or a hard curing handwiped varnish. For these headphones we highly recommend using MoHawk Penthouse Polish:

For headphones with a matte finish such as Barnwood, or rustic and aged type finishes, we recommend using just a dry cloth to wipe your headphones clean. This also includes headphones made from pheasantwood.
I have both in pure copper and both are great and you won't go wrong with any. With faster shipping option you may get Forza cable quicker. However only issue I have with forza is heavy barrel they use otherwise no complain and I find it very musical.Somehow I start want to experiment with other copper cable. Pheasantwood should really just have a dry cloth used on it.
Oh you have both, thanks for the hint here.
Been looking too many shiny wood (of ZMF) I guess, and made me wonder if my mate colour of pheasantwood should got special treatment. Thanks for the confirmation Zach!
How are your pheasantwoods looking without any treatment?
I bought a 2nd hand pair here and while I’ve got no sonic or comfort complaints.
The finish on mines is peeling and is giving way to an uneven look that while doesn’t affect my overall sense enjoyment it...it’s not exactly ideal (in my specific case) in a $2600 headphone
Forgot to post this photo here. Filter 2 works the best for me. Ultra smooth sounding set up, with fluid and effortless feel.
Took this photo few weeks ago:
Well I have no complaint in term of sound at all. In fact I like it more than few other woods that I able to tried.
Yes, uneven look at some area also noticeable on my pair. Need bright light to see them though, and a bit hard to photograph.
