LOL i was so wrong. Glad to hear another vote for Auteur HybridThose are actually some gel pads from @John Massaria designed for the Kennerton Rognir. They work pretty well, but I do prefer my Auteur hybrids.
Have any VC owners been so charmed by the Atrium that they’ve preferred it?
It's the new toy in the house so hard not to prefer it over the VCs since getting the Atriums a few weeks ago. Finally went back to the VCs today though needing closed backs to keep from disturbing the better half while she worked nearby. VCs still tick many boxes for me so can't imagine ever selling it.Have any VC owners been so charmed by the Atrium that they’ve preferred it?
The only thing stopping me from purchasing them is I’ve resigned myself to closed backs. It seems every time I reach for my headphones, it invites someone around me to start hammering, mow the lawn or muck around with power tools. It's the new toy in the house so hard not to prefer it over the VCs since getting the Atriums a few weeks ago. It basically comes down to do you need the isolation or not. Both are like driving a luxury carHave any VC owners been so charmed by the Atrium that they’ve preferred it?
They compliment each other well also, because of the way the music is presented, so having both is a great option if you could pull that off

I hear you, I need a closed back in my life too, I could not live without one. The VC never disappoints me.
Plus, I am also addicted to planar sound, that is another story.

Agree that having both is most satisfying. It basically comes down to do you need the isolation or not. Both are like driving a luxury car

You rang?Have any VC owners been so charmed by the Atrium that they’ve preferred it?
The Atrium is so very open sounding, the VC actually sounds closed in to my ears for the very first time in comparison.
Between the tonality, the mids, the bass, and lets not forget the staging, I prefer the Atrium over the VC for most genres, except perhaps pagan folk and the super fast metal I occasionally torture my ears with.
I think the VC and Atrium compliment each other pretty well. The real test will be when the Atrium closed drops......

Any VC owners with Atriums that can chime in on how technical they are vs the VC
