Last I heard the new stabilized batch would be released "around end of June or early July".
Any updates? @zach915m

We're working on it and have many of them in some stages of production. I didn't fore-see how fast the Olive-wood would sell out, so we're working on fulfilling most of those orders before putting the stabilized ones on the docket. But yes - a stabilized drop of VC is imminent.
Other models of stabilized, and other LTD's will come for ZMF November.

Thanks! I made an offer for the ironwoods and hope the seller accepts. It looks absolutely great on the photos, I really like the looks and it comes with this nice wood case. So, hopefully I`ll be part of the ZMF family soon tooMy ironwood VC are the heaviest ZMF I own, and my camphor burl Eikon with mag chassis the lightest. On my head I honestly don't notice a difference in weight or comfort. If you like the way the ironwood set looks, go for it, imo.

Hello,
I have been enjoying my VC closed for past few months! And looks my headphone gets equally excited as well as the right ear cups just falls of as I take them off my head. It looked the screw from the band that holds the earcup was somehow loose and I placed them and screwed those. It was fine for some days but again as I removed the headphone from my head it got separated…did the same again and this time made it bit more tighter but was careful not to over tight and crack anything…everything was fine few days but today it just happens again! Has this happened to anyone before? How did you guys fixed it if so? I am sure I can send it as it must be under warranty but would miss it badly!
attached is the pic.
Thanks

I’m sure @zach915m will give you the best advice, but I believe you need to use loc-tite with the screw to set it. Not much, just a dab and let it sit overnight.Hello,

Hi, glad that you are enjoying your VC! I am sure that there are some other work around methods but for my case, I loosen and adjust (very slightly) the two tiny screws below to a point that whenever you turn the cup, they turn together. In that case the 'un-screwing' action at the joint will never occur. If the screw thread at the joint has become loose, some loctite may help as well.Hello,

Heres a good video on rod replacement - which covers what thread locker to use and how to do it:I’m sure @zach915m will give you the best advice, but I believe you need to use loc-tite with the screw to set it. Not much, just a dab and let it sit overnight.
I vow to make more instructional video soon, I realize with our headphones being modular it's useful to have as many resources as possible!
These are handy to adjust sometimes, but just remember if you tighten these tighter that it will be impossible to adjust the headphone, but it will keep the rod from spinning too so just remember to untighten them if adjustment is needed!Hi, glad that you are enjoying your VC! Almost happened to me with my Autuer, one side looked like it was getting loose. So all I had to do was apply some threadlocke and they stayed on perfectly fine, granted I used some tools that ultimately damaged the rods so I got replacements, did it again with some gloves and they look brand new .Hello,

I’ve always really wanted / prioritised head-stage / sound-stage in my setups. I’ve lately been having to try to “get the center back” as I’ve been pulled left and right into crazy wide staging. #1stworldheadfiproblems admittedly…
I’ve also been 100% leather auteur pads except for the occasional leather universe pad swap. I’ve tried other pads and just gone back to the stock auteur pads - “this is a solved problem “.
I remembered again that the universe pads were a bit narrowing vs the auteurs… just what the doctor ordered - oddly. Needless to say I’ve had more hours now and I think it has worked to find the centre again.
I think I may have done this in the past and even posted about it. However, I think I had less of a width / diffusion issue in the past and went back to the auteur pads. I think I may have a more long lived success here…
So - yet again - kudos to ZMF for making great products where we can turn small dials in the field like this…

Hi Zach, where I live, I can't easily find the Vibra-Tite VC3 mentioned in your video, but I can find LocTite. Given that there are several offerings (based on strength and use case) e.g. 243 / 263 / 495 / 638 / etc, can you give any recommendation?

Most types of loctite might strip the finish on magnesium parts, if you have aluminum parts you can use any thread locker as long as you don't get it on the wood and clean up nicely.Hi Zach, where I live, I can't easily find the Vibra-Tite VC3 mentioned in your video, but I can find LocTite. Let me check back into loctite and see if they have an equivelant. Last time I checked the VC3 type they used was not commercially available.

No luck. Someone else got them and there are no others listed on Ebay. Does anyone know dealers in the EU, where it would make sense to ask for B-Stock or is that hopeless because the ZMFs are always build to order for a specific customer. 2800€ are simply much for me right now. Thanks!
