Ahh I see. Hey Zach I was wondering if it would be possible to send you my mad dogs to get made in to on of your headphones?
Sorry I don't utilize any pre-made or modified headphones for the ZMF's.

I tried putting this away for the day three times. I keep coming back for more! The iDSD pairs wonderfully with the Omni. Using it on turbo with 3D enhancement and the soundstage is incredible. That 3D gives me a little bit more crispness on top. It's exciting to improve my audio chain. I've done that tonight by combining these guys.
Im using my with the Ifi as well. Great combo with the turbo. Do you find yourself setting it to high sensitive mode to enable lower volumes when in turbo?

Just got my Walnut Omni's and I'm putting them through the paces right now! Running coax dx80>x12>h10. Really enjoying what I'm hearing so far. Also pictures don't do these justice! Can't wait to to try these on the Liquid Carbon I'll have in a few days.
Nah, at least not yet. I'm just being careful with the volume.Im using my with the Ifi as well. Great combo with the turbo. Do you find yourself setting it to high sensitive mode to enable lower volumes when in turbo?
That 3d switch does something magical with warm and bassy earphones. Makes them sound super spacious and brings out the treble.

I'd guess it's a cross-feed?

Either that, or a magical awesomifier.I'd guess it's a cross-feed?
Cheers
Anyone has tried pairing the Omni with the Chord Mojo? I currently own a Mojo so was curious. It makes my HP50 come alive. I wonder how it would fare with the Omnis

I just brought the omni to my local headphone shop to try out the new amps, dacs and daps. The chord mojo in particularly is pretty impressive, very fun and musical with the omnis. I even compared the omni to the he-1000 via the mojo. While I doubt the he 1000s were fully 100% driven to it's potential (though tbf neither was the omni), the comparison was alot closer than I thought. The 1000 had a far better stage and imaging but IMO the omnis beat it out in terms of musicality. I was actually pretty surprised how fun sounding the omni mojo pairing was.
The mojo is definitely in the short list for portable amp/dacs.
Found this post from a while back, there's a few other mentions of the Mojo with the Omni and all of them seem to be positive. I did hear the Omni's from the Mojo fed from an Onkyo DP X1 and it was a fantastic sound to my ears!

Thanks Zach!! I'm more intrigued by the Omni the more I read about it

I've had the Omni for several months now and I think I can safely say that it might be the best all-round headphone I've heard, in terms of balance, naturalness and musicality.

What is your preferred DAC to use with your Omni?

I haven't found it to be terribly picky. But the nm24>pulse>gov2>go450>zdac. All sound good with it, it's the extra juice that makes the difference with the LH products . The r2r makes everything more textured and holographic

NUPRIME HPA-9 w/ Omnis briefing
So the Nuprime HPA-9 is a relatively new headphone amp on the market with little coverage and is somewhat derived from the Nuprime DAC-10 headphone out but with different components. The trippy part is that it is only rated at Max 450mW @ 32 ohm . I would steer clear away form anything that weak for the Omnis, as I think atleast 850mw @50 ohms is what the Omni needs. Well I will be darned if this thing doesn't have more room on the pot than my Pulse infinity single ended. It has good and tight bass, doesn't boost the upper mids of the Omni, has controlled bass, slightly spacious, and is pretty smooth sounding. The good thing is that it doesn't add hash to what some consider is an inherently - slightly hashy driver (though Zach made these pretty pure sounding). Its pretty grainless, fluid, not thick or too bright with a good balance. Not as aggressive and slightly less dynamic than I like as an attack junkie but it's pretty darn good. Just thought I would mention it incase someone was wondering if it can do the Omnis justice and I say yes!
