Just looked at the website. I see ZMF is doing a masterclass on how to make the most aesthetically striking headphones on the planet. The Verites are nuts.

I have an ambrosia maple set from last years B stock (really doesn't seem like a b stock at all) and I'm thinking of getting a set with a much denser wood for the other end of the spectrum. It would be helpful to know what the woods are so I can check the janka measurements for them.

Eikon or Verite open or closed, I have the Auteur open. I am curious which will sound most unlike the Auteur open. Is the bass rumble of the Eikon so intense that an Auteur owner will be astounded? Or the stage of the Verite so alive it shines a light on the music?

I think the V Closed is probably more different since it uses a different driver, where-as the Eikon has similar timbre, with increase sub-bass and immediacy.

Will it also describe the color hardware and chassis metal type? I see what I assume are b-stock VO blackwood but it's difficult to tell the copper from rose gold (I think I see 2 rose gold pictures, which is what I'd want). Thanks.

I like the new pad bags. Definitely a nicer way to store pads and remember which ones they are. Beats the sandwich bags and sharpie.

Has anyone else noticed that selecting a headphone for verite open in the drop down will take you to the image and name of a different headphone? Perhaps just an iPad issue? I assume ones sold are showing as “unavailable” which is happening to the bottom of the drop down.

and actually in the time it took me to type this it looks like it fixed. Now sold items are off the drop down and they are linking to the correct images.

edit: happening still on the verite closed. Acastris I takes you to acastris IV.

It's our system taking a minute on ones that are out of stock. If it does that it should take away the option in the drop down menu as the page loads because it's the system recognizing that that one isn't available anymore.
