I owned a B-stock pair and it did not have any info as to why it was B-stock. However, it looked perfect to my eye.
Zach and his team seem to have pretty high standards. Their B-stocks are usually either very minor defects or not even noticeable at all. Any reason for B-stock is just cosmetic as well. Sonically they have the same sound as a non B-stock pair; otherwise they would not be sold.

Plus they have massive glamour shots of all the sets on the page. If you can’t see it on the pic it probably ain’t noticeable

@zach915m I noticed in the ZMF timeline picture in your initial post there was a Salire shown in the B-stock, Rarity, and Over-run section. Will any Salires be available Sunday?
If not do you have an estimation when they might be available again? I know your working on having more available soon.

There won't be a listing on each headphone, they are all in perfect acoustic and use shape, but if you prefer A-stock the rarities are the way to go.

Yep there will be some b-stock Salire's! A-stock will be ready some time next week we believe.

@zach915m - In what quantities are those rarities / LTD editions available? I've got my eye on some of those Camphor Burl ones, but I do wonder how quick I'll need to be to have any chance of snatching one.

I think we have around 15 Camphor Burl sets in open and closed! They are really sweet.

Well that sort of satiated my curiosity. They look great, and I'm sure the Stabilized VCs will look even better once they're put together but I'm now eyeing those blue, blue-greenish, and purple ones!

I have an ambrosia maple set from last years B stock (really doesn't seem like a b stock at all) and I'm thinking of getting a set with a much denser wood for the other end of the spectrum. It would be helpful to know what the woods are so I can check the janka measurements for them.
