At the end of last week,i received the Atrium open November limited version in canary wood and the Atrium Closed b-stock in olive wood (with steel blocks instead of the gold that someonesl else just got )

Loving the sound of both of these from the get-go! Im not sure what it is,but these are presenting the treble in such a nice way from the start. Plenty of bass bump too,but its nothing absurd or too much.

Joking aside, though, big kudos to whoever is picking the parts for those sets. The silver BBB strap goes perfectly with the grey streaks in the Olive. Was unsure from the pics why they picked the silver, but the wood looks different in the flesh and different lights (as mentioned), so the Silver (Grey) is a great choice!

Same with the CC Shedua, some of which got the Brown, some the Espresso strap. I expected the Espresso from the pics posted, but got the Brown - and will say that it actually fit my wood grain better, so kudos to a keen eye and great design sense!

Heh,i was torn on the rod color! They both looked good to me, but it came down to which wood grain i like the most and the novelty of a gray (or any color other than all black) BB strap.

i agree on the packaging. i wouldn't mind the option to get this case always vs the seahorse case, they make it easier to store and if I want to move it, i already have a seahorse case i can use.

gorgeous set btw, agreed on the "b-stock" quality - it is outstanding

I forgot to order a spare clamshell case.

From a collector's perspective, the hard-case is always desirable. Would love the option for both.

Did you need a clamshell case for the Bokeh? I have two Bokeh shell cases I don't use. I prefer the Seahorse cases and bought them instead. PM me if you want one. I am agonizing over the cardboard boxes for the Bokehs myself. I don't need them, but they're so nice I feel bad throwing them out. But space is tight so i'm probably going to toss them when I clean out my storage areas. I've got lots of stuff I dont need anymore that can go.

My shipping notice came as well... Michigan Atrium Open... it's overnight FedEx from Chicago to Cincinnati, should have some pictures soon. Very exciting!

I am so pumped for people to be getting their sets! Just a friendly reminder (on this absolutely frigid day here in Chicago)---- that when your box arrives, I know it will take super human strength to let it acclimate to indoor climate BUT.... harness the power and let your box sit in the house and slowly come to temp before you open it. There are some very cold spells happening around the country right now, and many of our poor headphones are sitting in the cargo spaces of vehicles that are FROSTY. Wood does not like very extreme sudden temperature shocks, so allowing the box to defrost before opening will make the headphone much more happy. Happy headphone have a much better transient response, too. Sad ones, not so much.

657 Vérité Closed Stab. Purple Maple + Salire Scarlet Birdseye Maple came in today. Both look wonderful, though I struggle to capture how good the VCs actually look in person, something about my phone's camera makes it look a bit off. They originally came with a black B.B.B, but I swapped over to a Berry one, figured it was a better match.
Edit: Aha! one of the close-ups I took when I just opened the case is pretty close to irl, check the last image.

Yeah, I read that in the shipping notification, fortunately the cold spell in Norway ended a few days ago, transitioning from -17c to +9c in just a day. Really glad I didn't have to sit knowing they're right there, in a box, waiting to be opened (would have been worth the wait no doubt, if it was still in the negatives)...

It's a Hart Audio modular cable (really handy for using the same cable on both my balanced SS Amp, and my 6.35mm SE tube amplifier), it's not actually meant to be that one for the Atriums, but the Atrium cable had a channel imbalance. Hart Audio was nice enough to send me a new one completely for free (shipping to Norway ain't cheap so that was really nice of them), however the new one came with a 4.4mm end termination rather than the miniXLR male it was supposed to, so it's not something I'd use.

Edit: Hart is sending yet another replacement cable, bless them!

Yeah, I wait up to 24 hours when getting a guitar delivered in the winter. Not my favorite thing to do, but better than getting an unwanted surprise due to rapid acclimation.
