I was a little late to see that these dropped, so choices were limited, but decided to grab a Scarlett Birdseye Maple to go with my Amboyna AO. Thanks for highlighting this pairing for me, they should look great together!

We've got similar tastes, also grabbed a scarlet and walnut burl to go with Amboyna headphones.

Yupz as soon as I saw the Scarlet. I though my Amboyna is going to need a stand.

You have great taste : ) I just snagged the regular Walnut Burl. My heart dropped for a sec when I saw this post as I thought it had already sold until I saw there was a B stock and regular. Now I will have 2 beautiful stands for my 2 headphones. One from ZMF and the other from Midwinter Design Works. Great time of year for this hobby.

Yeah, I'll post what my setup looks like tonight but Salire and Midwinter stands are great. I have my MDW in the front and Salires in the back since its taller so it can showcase all my headphones.

There are multiple non-B stock Salires in some woods, from what I can tell.

I was able to grab a B-Stock to match one of headphones.

I am just glad I was able to grab the stands I wanted at 7:10am PST. Didnt even know Salire drop was today. Lucky me that I am a morning person.

@zach915m I see there is still a Scarlet Birdseye Maple left over. Does any one know if it's cheaper to get one combined with a different order? (in terms of shipping). I am still waiting for my VC to ship from the B-stock drop, so if shipping to Norway would be cheaper if they were sent together I'd prefer that. And if so should I just order it right now and request that they combine it with the other one? Or wait for a response from support on if they can combine it then bill me?

Yeah I accidentally ordered it up front, I was just checking the value converted prices in Paypal and hit this button:

I did not think "continue to review" would instantly confirm the order, so I suppose it's a possibility that I'll just have to swallow the full shipping cost. I've reached out to support on if it's possible to get them combined for a partial refund on the shipping fee, hopefully they'll be able to help.

At least it seems like it was the last Scarlet left, so I'm only slightly upset with Paypal for this misuse of "continue to review".

Edit: It was no problem, they'll combine the shipment and upon re-calculating the cost, refund me the difference. ZMF support once again coming out exceedingly positively.

They always do that for internationally buyers. Its easier for them and the buyer. This is why ZMF customer service is top, imho.

I ended up buying these this morning after looking at them for a long time. I have a few Verite Closed and was looking to add another one. I have no idea when the next batch of B&W Ebony wood is coming, nor if they would trickle down to older models like the Verite. They only had one B&W Verite Open and 3 Closed in the last release. I'm hoping to have a full line of these at some point, I've been trying for a bit. That makes an Atrium Open, Atrium Closed, Caldera Closed, Caldera Open, Auteur, and Verite Closed in B&W ebony.

I have to stay off that site... and there are STILL so many good options left....

I've looked at those 2 sets (BW9 & BW11) every day trying to decide if I need to buy one this cycle or wait. Great purchase, they are gorgeous and you're so right if you are trying to fill out the B&W collection don't pass a beauty like this up.
