Considering our age, I don't think debating the semantics of current slang is appropriate.![]()

Don't know about you, but I get maybe 50"-60" of coherence per day (on average).

Tonights listening
rolled in a pair of Ken Rad 6J5 and a pair of Tung Sol 7802 (unobtanium) in the Glacier
In the Lampi we have a USAF 596 and a pair of Gold Lion KT77
One of the better tune combos I've rolled in awhile. Very deep stage, and great imaging...oh and lots o' bass
For tunes, im rocking some Eilen Jewell
Giving this a listen myself. Very well-recorded stuff! I like what I’m hearing so far. Thanks once again for the music recommendation. If you get a chance the Ken Rad 7193 work very well with that roll as well.

A number of the boards we bought have sap wood, but I wouldn't assume you'll get a blond piece of sap wood. Most are brick red, we will choose what wood we feel works best with each grille, rod and chassis choice. Are the blonde spots common to this batch of wood? Does it all have around that level of figuring?

What an amazing lineup! @zach915m and the team are definitely putting in overtime this week. I love the VC and Atrium I own already, but these 10 ebony sets are truly divine. Congratulations in advance to whoever snags them. Also just a reminder of the staggered schedule tomorrow:
Atrium Cocobolo LTD (7/17 (sunday): 8AM CST/6AM PST
Atrium Macassar Ebony and Verite Closed Macassar Ebony (5 Units each!) 7/17 (sunday): 8:30AM CST/6:30AM PST
Atrium, auteur Classic, Verite Open and Closed and Aeolus Stabilized and Resin: 7/17 (sunday): 9AM CST/7AM PST
Verite Open and Closed B Stock 7/17 (sunday): 9:05AM CST/7:05AM PST OR immediately AFTER the stabilized/resin goes live.
Thanks for sharing. Amidst the sea of drool for the limited releases(very drool worthy), it's great to read some new impressions on the Atriums. Though it does not share the same presentation and tonal balance as the Utopia, I do find it has similar properties that makes them very comparable. The Atrium is just so so good. For my preferences, with lamb BE2 pads and Aeolus mesh they just absolutely nail timbral balance, tonal weight, and micro-dynamics with almost best in class imaging and macro-dynamics and are close enough to neutral (my only small complaint). I also don't quite understand the common complaint of less detail compared to other flagships. I pretty much disagree with that assessment but maybe my ears suck.
It's been trading blows with Utopia, my 5-year reference, which has comfortably slayed all other dynamic and planar flagships during ownership. After several months of owning Atrium I'm pretty shocked to feel like it's probably going to dethrone the Utopia. I honestly thought that day would never come for me.
It's on the Mount Rushmore of headphones, IMO. I'm also no ZMF fanboy. This is the first ZMF I've truly liked and I've owned all the open models and the VC.
Had the #5 Atrium in my cart for a while, which surprised me, but I'm glad someone else got it. I kept debating in my head whether my wallet could take that hit.I'm sure a lot of the hot cup summer stuff is going to sell fast, but I have a feeling that the Macassar ebony are going to be sold out in a couple minutes. There will always be more stabilized and resin sets, but who knows when or if we'll see that beautiful ebony again.
