for anyone with a newer unit that hasn't been broken in, how has the break in been? similar to the Atrium open? I remember my Atrium sounding a bit dull up top for the first 50ish hours then the treble seemed to come forward a bit. or my brain adjusted haha curious if that trend will continue on the AC given the driver is the same. also curious if anyone tried running solid pads on the AC. it was surprising to see perf pads on a closed set, Zach always ran solids. But i see the inner lining is solid, so it seems to be an evolution in the pad design. cant wait for more impressions!

I just received my review set yesterday afternoon, I’ll hold off on any serious impressions until they have had a proper burn in, but I’ve already noticed a significant improvement over yesterday (at about the 10 hour mark or so). I would expect improvement to continue up to 50 hours give or take.

So far I’ve had the stock lamb skin caldera pads on which seem to be an excellent fit with the Pendant SE, but I’ll give the suede ones a try at some point to compare and contrast.

I just bought a trove of redwood and walnut burl for some releases this summer. Likely the wood after Olive will include those for whatever we call our summer release (burl mania?) if you'd prefer that over Olive.

Hell ya - summer time may be better for my budget anyways. I can be patient for the Burl Blitz, Burl Mania, Ballin’ Burl, etc when it arrives!

First LTD will be the Curly Italian Olive I've been hoarding for 3 years for this very moment. I couldn't bring myself to use it for an open headphone to cut out any of those beautiful curls.

The LTD editions and standard editions will be discounted within the first run as usual for the first couple weeks. Release date is looking like it'll likely be the 21st or 28th of April. Part of that is just making sure we have stock to send out that's built before hand, I'd rather do that instead of sell and then make everyone wait.

As far as weight, it looks like with Mag around 520-530 and with aluminum closer to 560 for Olive. The Cherry versions are sitting at 465 and 500 from what I'm weighing today in Mag and Alum respectively.

The best sounding setup(to me) I heard at Can Jam was Atrium closed/Feliks Audio Evo. I went to Can Jam specifically to hear the Envy, but in the end Susvara/Expanse on the Envy didn't impress me as much as Atrium closed/Evo. Very magical sounding combo.

I pulled the AC from the desk nearby and stuck it on the EVO (they had the Utopia there before) and that synergy with the AC was spectacular. I think they kept that combo after for rest of show, the EVO soared with the AC.
