In for updates, this was the best thing I heard at Canjam NYC and probably my favorite amp I’ve heard. On my purchase list for sure.

@AnyDave, Kevin (ZMF Staff) and I built the DIY version and have compared a bunch - there's some key differences in UI/layout, but overall the tonality and sound is very similar. I'll be making video coming out weekly starting next week to answer a lot of that and will try to talk to the @L0rdGwyn himself to shed more light.Awesome - keen to hear impressions between this and the DIY version (spent some time the other day skimming through the original thread & the Aegis build documentation but I'm easily intimidated by that stuff). Also, any word on whether there will be alternate finishing styles of the production Aegis offered down the line?
No pre-order - just going to have inventory readily available to ship starting at or very close to release on May 10th. It's the same day as the Caldera Closed release, so we will offer some bundle discounts as well. Will ZMF provide a pre-order list? If so please provide a link. I'm not usually the type of person who has to be at the front of the line usually in this hobby. But I'll make an effort this time-for this! Lord Gwyn ×ZMF x Cayin!! That's epic level collaborations in my book.

Thanks! Good to hear, means I can stack it on top of a Holo May (due to the constraints of a somewhat small office table). Can you share the weight of the unit as well?Dimensions are approximately 11.25" L x 14.25" W x 8"H.
It's very very heavy due to the hefty transformers, chokes and Psu, somewhere around 55 lbs I believe. Thanks! Good to hear, means I can stack it on top of a Holo May (due to the constraints of a somewhat small office table). Can you share the weight of the unit as well?

I think we have similar tastes based on some tube transactions we've done in the past so I can confidently say you'll love this amp. This is right up my alley. I already have a great rectifier collection and own most all interesting 6V6Gs and 6V6GTs. I also have plenty of 6SL7s due to using them in my Eddie Current tube phono amp.
I think I'll have to get one.
Side note: I've also been following this since last year. So my interest isn't new.
Has a price been announced for the amp?@AnyDave, Kevin (ZMF Staff) and I built the DIY version and have compared a bunch - there's some key differences in UI/layout, but overall the tonality and sound is very similar. Yes, but did you have to make it sexy?? That right there is just plain ridiculous. Here's a better pic than the quick show snap that I posted earlier. It better shows off the overall aesthetic and how the front trim matches the transformer covers.
