Wheres the 4th BA? Or am I missing something? AE closed my order of the QT5 with my new mastercard after the shinanagins from previous mastercard getting hi jacked in AE with a bunch of unauthorized transactions. Have appealed the purchase by providing ID and pic of new master card and waiting for it to clear and proceed. Getting annoyed with AE tbh. pity the QT5 is only available there from what Ive Googled ..

"Composite" may be a translation for 2 of those BAs.
 
Use Alipay when buying from Aliexpress, and stay away from any shops with little to no feedback. Alipay doesn't release any CC info to the sellers.

I'm just lurking, but could it be that they missed a line break in those specs? Otherwise they consider the 10mm DD to be "low middle frequency", and that doesn't sound right to me. Anyway, I think it could actually be:

Those Values are added resistors, I presume.
Knowles 31749 (SWFK) and 30095 (WBFK) are dual BAs. I guess with the inclusion of a crossover, this is a 3-way design.
The Dynamic-Driver for lows, the SWFK for mid-frequencies and the WBFK for highs.

Resistors (in this case tuning-filters, most likely) add impedance and alter frequency-response. They are widely used for dampening and fine-tuning earphones.

Not from Knowles, yes. Although this could conclude to either actual resistors or it's some voodoo magic which has been mistranslated.

This explains why the mids sound much quieter on some songs since I don't have an amp.

TWFK31749 is a dual driver. WBFK30095 is a single super tweeter. I think 120ohm means that the DC resistance or stated impedance of the mid driver is 120ohm.

You're right. Silly me. WFBKs are single drivers. (SWFK,TWFK,DWFK are dual)
SO, we got a dual BA and two single BAs. Also what driver is it then? No Knowles has a 120Ohm impedance, besides the HE-31751 which has 112Ohm?

The WBFK-30000 is 124 ohms.

But it uses a single Mid driver. At a low price, it'll probably be an EF or BK, as on Taobao you can buy used drivers in bulk for cheap.

Interesting reading the recent technical posts, can only find one seller in AE with the QT5 which is Shenzen , in the end I deactivated my previous account after more demands for ID beyond the drivers Licence and CC I provided to appeal the closed QT5 order. Have ordered it again with new account with no probs and emailed the seller and mentioned Head Fi forums and they know about us and hoping the QT5s will get positive feedback here. Pity I emailed them after the purchase as maybe could of got a discount. . Hoping they arrive end of next week!

finally after almost 1 week of AE stuffing me about my QT5s have been FedEx d! 3-6 days they will be in my earholes! Cant wait!

P.s have been messaging Shenzin about QT5s and any Chinese IEMs they know of that is as good or beyond.. he said Shockwaves were close and he mentioned talk of the Rose Pudding being up there with the QT5s but they dont have a sample yet to compare. He said they have ordered some and will compare with QT5 and message me impressions. .
