Question,to all of the head-fie experts:

Is there another Chinese,5 driver IEM,that might replace the ..QT-5,or something near it.
Doesn't have to be a Chinese IEM?
Or am I dreaming???

Anyone considering another make/model??,even if it's a bit higher in price?..say-$400-$450-

Yep. There is another called the Musicmaker Shockwave 3. I've actually done a swap this week with @TwinACStacks by sending him my QT5 and he sent his SW3. Both are pretty excellent, but I prefer the tuning of the QT5.

I also prefer the tuning of QT5 and treble's definition is superior, more polite, refined and airy. Almost impossible to notice without an A/B though.

So you say the $20-30 over the SW3 is worth it?

No, not yet. Waiting for DQSM D2 though.

Ok. I have the TK13 and love it, just looking for a different sound sig and the QT5 looks to be it. TK13 is a more refined version of the TK12 which I also loved, Twin compares the QT5 to the TK12 but with more bass. Hmm such tough decisions we have in life.

To me, yes. The SW3 has a little less bass impact but still good extension, a bit more laid back in some mids like drums, vocals are a bit more clinical without as much presence, and a boost in treble, V shaped.

It still surpasses anything under $300 that i've heard aside from the QT5. They're on equal turf, just tuned different, and we don't know the model BA's used on them yet where we do with the QT5.
