Question,to all of the head-fie experts:

Is there another Chinese,5 driver IEM,that might replace the ..QT-5,or something near it.
Doesn't have to be a Chinese IEM?
Or am I dreaming???

Anyone considering another make/model??,even if it's a bit higher in price?..say-$400-$450-

Mike

Did you check that

Thanks Guys...

Paulus, boy, these earphones must have impressed you tremendously.
Your words & how you phrased them, cut, right through the chase, and describe how you felt,at the time you tested them.
A excellent review-Thank You

Thanks for the kind words Mike,. Indeed, I write as I listen. Sometimes it takes a week or more to put it all together. I think it happens with most of the reviewers :)

They did impressed me immenselly, yes. And this QT5 has something that makes the difference to my personal preference. I think the treble alone is worth the extra cash.

  I ninja'd both you guys

EDIT: Did more consideration and still undecided, sheesh!

Don't feel bad, I'm considering trying the DQSM D2 myself, and was interested in the TK13 as well before that. Just keep reading impressions from others to help decide. There are a lot of helpful, honest, and trusted head-fi'ers giving impressions on all the different models coming out, which helps with the buying decision.

There are even more 3 driver hybrids coming out soon from those two shops (Easy and HCK). It's tough to keep up with all the new releases, but they've all been pretty great, as you've heard with the TK12 and 13.

I'm super curious about the QT5 but I'm afraid if the fit with my narrow ear canals.

Anyone that owns them and use small tips most of the time with other IEMs?

My wife has the ear canals of a hobbit and had them in her ears for a few hours yesterday , she used the smallest size wide bore and mentioned they fit well and were best sounding of the lot so far. . She not a fan of wearing over ear which is necessary with these for her and myself at least..

I personally haven't, but I think some have compared the QT5 to the Shock Wave 3s? 1DD + 4BA

Yes,I already have been comparing them, they seem like a top notch IEM,with outstanding SQ,also,a few bucks cheaper.
Build quality ,looks good as well-no twisting of cables..etc.,or any other tip problems?
Paulus,  did mention ,that he choose the QT5 because of the way they were tuned.,Paulus is quite impressed with them & according to his profile, has sold all other IEMS,except...the QT5's,which is some compliment.

As of now,I'm undecided but still leaning to the QT5's,even though I'll have to do major surgery on them,I guess??,and hope to get a decent fit,this will be my last IEM,for some time..I'm getting IEMED out,need to start using my Stax009's for a while[They are up for sale}

Thanks for the link.

Later,
Mike

Am considering selling my IEM collection also since QT5s have made them pretty much redundant. . I have not had any issues with the cable or having to twist and carry on.. the muffled OOTB dissolved with 24hours playtime.. will keep the Shozys Zeros despite not using them since QT5s landed..

If you do sell the QT5's,and they are in perfect working order, please let me know-OK?
