Yes, I had. While it technically works, the angle didn't quite fit my ear canal and it became too tight for any long session of listening

I see they use removable filters, like the Etys. Are those the same filters? (Ety's filters only last me a couple of weeks, unfortunately.)

Yes, they are the same Green filters. I have used replacement ETYs filters in mine.
