and I saved the best for last;
The 40th anniversary CD release of Herb Alpert & The Tijuana Brass - Whipped Cream And Other Delights. Remastered and 2 bonus tracks. Plus an introduction in the liner notes by Herb Alpert himself.

Got/bought 3 CDs this Christmas.
The Doors - Morrison Hotel
Jack Johnson - Bushfire Fairytales
Franz Ferdinand - You could have it so much better

Out of the 3, I was pleasently surprised by the Franz Ferdinand and Morrison Hotel in particular.
