Sweet Madonna, that is a great album.  Excellent purchase!!! :)

It is indeed a great album, probably one of her best if not the best. Some music lovers seem to overlook Madonna, but her music has always had a place in my heart.

I only have two album purchases to report, but since I'm replying I might as well post them.

Agalloch - Ashes Against the Grain

Dream Theater - Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence

I've never fully understood that myself. I grew up hearing "Frozen" and many other Madonna songs that came up once awhile on the radio. I never grew old of her music and I still own an old cassette release of Ray of Light from way back.  I don't know if its because of all the commotion she's received in her career in terms of general media, but she's a great artist.

My last purchases:

PSY - Gentleman (Single)

SlipKnoT - SlipKnoT (10th Anniversary Edition]

Bought these two CDs and one LP today. I tried looking for the new Kanye West album but sadly neither of my local record stores had ordered even a single copy. It's the exact same thing that happened with his previous album, which I had quite the trouble finding.
size]
I only desired to buy the new Sigur Rós on CD first, but since both of the vinyl versions come with the CD it didn't seem logical to buy the CD separately if there was even a remote possibility of me wanting to buy the vinyl later.

Chthonic - Bú-Tik

The National - Trouble Will Find Me

Sigur Rós - Kveikur [limited deluxe 2 LP with CD and bonus 10"]

These five LPs were also kindly delivered to my front door today.

Beck - Sea Change [Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab, half-speed mastered 2 LP]

Charles Mingus - Mingus Ah Um [Original Recordings Group, numbered limited 45rpm 2 LP]

Eric Dolphy - Out to Lunch! [Music Matters, limited edition 45rpm 2 LP]

Joe Henderson - Inner Urge [Music Matters, limited edition 45rpm 2 LP]

Bobby Hutcherson - Happenings [Music Matters, limited edition 45rpm 2 LP]

Those who have never heard Mingus Ah Um should make it a priority - even if you don't normally listen to jazz. It is one of the greatest recordings ever committed to tape and the sound quality is stellar.

I got these three LPs today.

Arcade Fire - Sprawl II (Mountains Beyond Mountains) & Ready to Start [limited edition 12" 45rpm]

Dead Can Dance - Anastasis

Weezer - The Lion and the Witch [Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab, limited numbered edition]

The Arcade Fire is a Record Store Day 2012 exclusive which my local record store still had in stock. The Weezer one I bought simply for the fact that I was impressed the store had a MoFi release sitting on the shelf.

Just as I was on my way to the store my phone rang and I was informed my turntable had finally arrived. I fetched it but sadly the dust cover and equipment stand I ordered for it hadn't arrived yet, so I think I'll wait till at least the dust cover arrives before I (attempt to) set it up.

If you like Anastasia you ahould get the recent live LPs. They're amazing. Some of the best live recordings I've ever heard.

Let me know how the Weezer sounds. Been considering those.
