And what source do you pair with, btw?

I don't have them anymore but I never got too fancy with them, just listened directly through my Asus laptop or Motorola phone, with original wires and ear tips. What I liked about them is they could sound great with any source but do agree the highs were a little less airy than other phones but also made them never fatiguing.

I must be wrong when I judge the sound base on these Portable Dac alone: it find the sound is more analog and engaging when play on iTunes than Foobar2000, perhaps pure sounds without some analog feeling lack a bit of excitement…
