XDUoo XD05PRO

Based on what they told me, to make XD05-PRO work in TURBO, 12V input is required:

1. Please use a fast charging head or one that can output 12V power supply.
2. If it is a 5V power supply, only turns on ECO/NORMAL mode.
That's right, both chargers have a variable output, the one from Xiaomi does not cause problems and runs the XD05 with turbo mode

Does it sound recognisably Class A?

Turbo mode works on battery no problem

Yes, it works perfectly on battery.
But if you put the switch on EXT without having the 12V input and you are in TURBO, either it doesn't turn on or it turns on and seems to work, but in reality it doesn't work properly
(for example, in my case, the optical input didn't work).

Is there any different in sound quality between Turbo using internal battery with Turbo EXT ?
Thanks

Yep, I would like to lnow the same. If someone has managed to activate Turbo Mode properly (with switch postition on EXT connected to 12V 2A power supply), is there any audible difference in terms of SQ and power output, in comparison when you activate Turbo only on battery power?

There is no sound difference sounds exactly the same.

Works off of a Samsung phone charger 2A

Are you sure that your Samsung phone charger properly output stable 12V 2A when tested? I will test my chargers with usb-c voltage-current meter when i get it next week...

I managed to fire up the EXT normally with an aukey pa-d5 12V/3A charger power supply.

My impression is that it is a tad better (the bass has more body and is tighter). But I'm not 100% sure - I did an a/b comparison that two times and the difference to my ear is barely audible.

So it is possible that this is maybe just my internal suggestion and maybe there is no difference.

Did you test output Current and Voltage when connected your charger to XD05PRO? (I mean did you tested with some Volt Current meter like the one in photo).

Nope, 12V/3A is rated by the manufacturer (only check cables powering my phone on Ampere app).

I did test bunch of usb c cables tough Like 7 of them and only two rated with PD 3.0 (100 W) and PD 3.1 (240 W) were able to power the device properly (I mean that when I used them device does now shut down automatically and so on).
