You mean to say Xduoo actually fixed an issue with the X3 ?
I'm absolutely shocked.

Hello guys! Good news for those who got X3 from new parties and bricked X3 after Rockboxing. Fellas from Xduoo finally shared the proper firmware to download. Find it here: https://www.xtenik.com/latest-firmware-download/

Install it via standard xduooX3burnTool on win 7 only. New X3 firmware is located in XduooX3Burn tool. Dont forget to share your results here please.

All thanks goes to user" telecomberd "from 4pda.ru who forced Xduoo to share the link to proper firmware!
Once we are sure that this new firmware from Xduoo is suitable to unbrick new players, we can move further and prepare a dual OS install (Rockbox + standard OS).
....means testing of new firmware and feedbacks from owners of new bricked X3 are required for next progress.

Hi all. I've updated my rockbox download page with new rockbox/stock/back to stock packages in order to support the X3 rev. 2 players (with new flash chip).
X3-V1.1new stock firmware (and X3-VTX5 custom with EQ enabled) are suited for both old (r1) and new (r2) hardware revisions and contains new bootloader and kernel.
Potentially this can fix some problems and is recommended to flash for everyone.

Great!
How can we use this on an allready RockBoxed X3, with dualboot problem?
Is it a simple copy to the SD card?

OK, I have a windows 7 machine here now, but for some reason the burntool doesn't seem to do anything.
Probibly I'm missing something, and don't understand how this works.
Do I need to make preparations of some kind?
I thought running the "Flash_Stock_r2.bat" must be enough.
Only thing that is happening, is that Burntool is started, but don't do anything.

Any ideas?

EDIT:
Yes, I managed to do it.
The X3, is back on stock firmware v1.1. (Though I used the stock_2r file)
The mistake, what I made, was that de files were not in the root of the C:\ "AND" the SDCARD.
Now, I can experiment with the dualboot option.

Hey. I’m after a cheap dap for work that can power meze 99 classics. I want something small but that sounds nice and can be paired with an external dap/amp when required. It’s between this dap and shanling m0. Any suggestions?
