Cool, Rockbox is what I'm planning on doing. My Sansa Clip Zip got fried by a car cigarette lighter charger and my 5.5 gen iPods are both on the fritz, so I'm gonna get the X3 to replace all of those. Thanks.

I just spent 2 weeks with Soundaware Esther M1 Pro which sells for approximately 5 times as much as the X3.
no X3 doesn't slay it but it comes damn close. I really think the rockboxed X3 punches way above it's class.

How much battery life are you getting with the Xduoo X3? it seems like the Fiio x1 gives around 25% more battery life. I want even more battery life than the Fiio x1, in a lighter weight and smaller player.

I would also day though that the Fiio is more user friendly, but at the end of the day it's all about the audio, not the menus, right?
Just listening to Peter Green's Mac, oh well.

So Rockbox is the only way to sort pitch then?
Or only play mp3 files, or convert all songs to 48kHz...
Rockbox is the 'only' way to go.
