This evenings listening session on Ta-26s with EF600 as dac with nos filter. A bit of a Frankestein setup with Visseaux 6j5 tubes. R70x's sing really good in this setup. Eversolo Streamer as source.

Love the setup! Looks like you’ve got a lot to play with. 😎

Guys, I got a silly question to ask. I got the TA-22 and it has 6.35mm, 4.4mm and XLR input for headphone. Can we actually use multiple headphones to connect them at the same time so that mutiple ppl can listen together?
Anyone can help on this? Can we use multiple headphones for it?

Yup, you can run both the 1/4” and 4.4mm at the same time. I imagine that you can use the XLR as well, but I don’t have anything terminated in XLR. It does reduce the volume of both devices (change in impedance? Feel free to correct me).
I guess you can run open backed headphones with a subwoofer.
Does it volume match them? No! So it’s not great for A/B testing.

Great! Thank you for the information. Yea, I will be using both 4.4mm and XLR. Now I can consider running 2 headphones so that another family member can listen to the same song as well.

Maybe also ask xduoo customer support, just in case. For some amplifiers, there is degrade of sound quality when multiple headphones are used simultaneously.

If you’re using two headphones, make sure they have similar db/mw output. Otherwise one will get louder than the other as more voltage is given. You might accidentally blast your co-listener if they are using more sensitive HPs
I have heard that some people use things called “speakers”. But I am not well versed in these dark magics.

Ah! Feet-tapping-phones. Makes perfect sense. However, I am skeptical about this 11 position. Most my HPs are in the 20’s or 30’s when playing. But I could get by with an IEM terminated in 4.4mm

Yeah, pretty much as I was expecting. Putting them in front of me just doesn’t seem to be my cup of tea, Even if they are put “all the way up to 11”. I guess that at the end of the day, it all comes down to whatever makes you happy.
But I’ll be putting these back in my ears, thank you very much.

…but why don’t you make 10 louder and 10 could be the top? 😉
