Xbox 360 or PS3

I have a birthday coming up soon and will probly get a gaming system. The PS3 isn't out yet and i want to wait for it since my friend's 360 is great but not as good as i thought it would be. Anyways 360 or PS3

PS3 won't launch in NA until Xmas 2k6. If you can wait, wait. If not, the 360 is a fine piece of gear. I love mine.

There will always be newer tech. You can play the waiting game until you are old and grey. I say get the 360 now and enjoy next gen right now.

I've got the 360 at the moment, finding it great (using MCE and whatnot).

For some reason, I would much prefer to get my hands on the Revolution - I'm happy to wait for the PS3.

Revolution, holmes. The 360 isn't half bad, I'd say. Sony can suck it, for various reasons (I'd be happy to elaborate, if you'd like).

Unless Sony has a superior online service to XBox Live, I'll probably be passing on the PS3 until later on when it drops in price and some non-rushed 2nd gen games are out.

360 and Revolution for me. Sonys online leaves LOTS to be desired and 3 ps2s of mine broke this generation.

i'd get the ps3 just to play metal gear solid 4, never was a fan of the xbox

i'll take a ps3 and revolution, always much preferred sony's lineup to the XBox's WW2 FPS and EA-obsessed lineup.

Depends on which games you looking forward to. I'd get the ps3 since I'm a fan of their sony-only franchises (i.e. devil may cry, metal gear, final fantasy, etc).

PS3 for me all the way. I have been a PS lover for a long time. I can't stand xbox controllers. IMO PS has much better games and many more games. Sure you have Halo. But seriously there are just sooo many good games for ps2. Xbox can't convince me with just Halo and awesome graphics. Sure there are other decent games, but PS2 just has a LIBRARY of phenomenal games

No one knows when the PS3 will launch so saying xmas 2006 is misleading.It could come as early as march but anyways,the 360 seems to be heading toward down the FPS path again and since i can afford only one at the moment it will be the PS3.

Nintendo Revolution.

The Xbox360 doesn't excite me at all.... if it eventually drops down to around $150 in price I might pick one up a few years down the line.

I know microsoft has done the best to make money on the x360 planning the release of the console before christmas . I've played some x360 but I've been absolutely unipressed , my pc do quite much better at the moment .. but the mass will eventually buy it in the next months .. so microsoft will hit their score.

for me it's all about the new revo game philosophy ( hoping that they'll try to invest and develope well ) and yes , ps3 - but to tell the truth if I had to choose one between a super-graphic console which show to have so solid software and a new game exp. console which shows to have some valid software too , I would probably get the second .
