Hello everyone!

I've been reading these forums for months now.

Just wanted to thank everyone who has praised Grado headphones. Got my SR-225 today and they absolutely ROCK!. I was happily living with my Senn HD-650 before but now I can't stop listening to my new Grados. I know the senns are somewhat high-end but I gotta admit, the grado sound is just so much more alive and musical.

The bad thing is... I kinda started thinking about getting RS-1

Congratulations! I just got my RS-1s from TTVJ today. I just started listening to Eric Clapton Unplugged. Sounds good.

That's what happened to me also.Although i did not have a hd650 i did have a hd595 but when i got my SR-225 i knew that it was the right can for me.I have moved up the chain a bit and it only gets better

.I say go for the RS-1.

Bliss...I agree ..I just got my 325i's today as well.
after reading all threads on the 325i
I was expecting a horrible, overly bright, heavy, colored and uncomfortable headphone instead i got ..well..bliss.

Ive had 225s for a little over a week and i love em too. Compared to the 595s, theres less soundstage but i like the added bass and the upfront sound to them. Rock is just amazing on these things.

Also give the RS-2's a shot. They are great 'phones at a significantly lower price than the RS-1's. Some even prefer them over the RS-1's.

yes my 325's are blissfull as well, but i wouldn't mind a little more comfort

Well, .. i guess i would have to concede on that one. They are a tad heavy...in fact i think they may be starting to give me a sore neck?

Congrats on the 225s! The RS-1s are not just better 225s. They're different, more refined, and honestly they are not as fun. Having said that, they're not as fatiguing and they extend farther. Sometimes I wish I had 225s instead of RS-1s, I wouldn't be as afraid to take them everywhere.
Enjoy the 225s. They're great. And they actually do some things better than the RS-1s.
I just can't keep them on my head for more than an hour, though.

Played a nice acoustic album (opeth- damnation) and the detail was astounding.
Now im playing some metal...
