Worst Headphone Flops!

the issue with bose is that they sell headphones which should go for 50-60 dollars for 100-150 on brand alone, you take the triports and sell them for 50 bucks, and its a good headphone,

I don't think I've ever bought a pair of headphones I didn't like. Even the Aiwa buds I got with a little AM/FM radio sound pretty good although I guess I'd do a thumbs down on iPod buds. Never expected to actually use them though as I had a pair of Porta Pros at home when I bought my first iPod. Regarding the Senn HD201, they sound pretty good hooked up to an RSA Hornet.

The Qualia was definitely a flop, and a high-profile one at that. To waste such an amazing driver in a terribly conceived, weak, and non-adjustable design, not to mention the overly silly manner in which they were sold, was truly a shame. They are some of the best headphones I've ever heard, but I would never buy them due to their fragility and likely lack of future support. If only they had done a better job designing the headphones and distributed them in a more reasonable manner, I think they would be considered the best headphones in current production. Tear....

Sony MDR-D777lp. They originally retailed for about $150 and were positioned to compete with the Triport. Today they sell for about $35 and are worth about that - if they don't break within the first month. (They sure do look cool, though.)

Ok, I claim the worst headphone award I think. These headphones epitomizes "bad headphones." They're the $2 headphones that they sell before you board the plane at Jet Blue airplanes. They're in a box, a bunch of 'em, wrapped in really cheap quality plastic. After you pay, they feel REALLY and I mean REAAAALY cheap. The range of these headphones are 0 to 1 i swear. There is absolutely no bass and it sounds all fuzzy. There is no stage, it's like tunnel vision, but for your ears. They are also EXTREMELY EXCRUCIATINGLY uncomfortable. After 5minutes, the outer ring of your ear hurts badly. I'm overwhelmed by the bad quality. Here's a pic of them (On the left) So yeah. There you go

Not really headphones, but the Skullcandy Holua IEMs were disgusting >.>
Even to my untrained ear I could tell they were bad.
Each song basically became a stream of **** spewing into my ear.
