I replaced the stock fuse in my WA2 with the Audio Magic Masterpiece M-1 Beeswax Fuse and

FYI to anyone watching this thread that there is a nice set of WA2-specific tubes available in Classifieds:

These tubes were owned by a much-loved forum member passed away far too early, and proceeds from the sale will go to his family.

(I’d buy them myself if I had any tube needs and/or space for backups, but I have just the right amount already. Those Tung-Sol power tubes alone are worth the price of the whole kit, I suspect…)

Did you try getting set up for MFA (multi-factor authentication) in the classified adverts? For new listings, edits, etc that is required.

@walls great to hear some 5998s are about to become available, they are a bit tricky to find these days. If I didn’t already have a pair (with T-S 7236s as capable backups), I’d buy them.
