After owning a esp95x I want to try some other electrostatic headphones. Will the Japanese version of the srl300 and srm 252s work in the US if I buy the right power adapter or converter? I don’t want to buy it and end up breaking it.

What about warranty and service and resale? It is probably much smarter in the long run to buy the Americanized version.

AFAIK the 500W one will power KGSSHV Carbon amps, so the 500W is fine.
Thank you. Also i need to get a 120V power adapter that is + o - and i am good to go with the transformer?

I don't know about STAX specifically, but in general, companies refuse to service out-of-region products. You could ask in the STAX threads.
