I'm new here.
...and I don't know much about headphone amps.
I currently have a pair of Beyerdynamic DT 990 Pro 600 Ohm headphones.
Right now I'm monitoring through the headphone jack on my Pioneer DJM 900 mixer. It seems to work fine that way. They are more than loud enough. Is there something I'm missing with these headphones by not having a different headphone amp or should the DJM 900 be able to power them sufficiently?
I'm considering getting a pair of Audeze LCD-2 headphones. I'm curious if the DJM 900 will be enough to power those or if I have to get a separate amp.
