No. He had a sprained knee on a Porto match (my club

). He was suposed to stop for about 4 weeks, but on the week after, he was already playing the championsip match with sporting lisbon. He played 'till the end of the championship and played the portuguese cup without any problem.
He's 100% ready for the world cup

My vote went for Brazil. Their team is amazing and loaded with very capable player. I'm also a big fan of Germany and I believe they will make it far in the worldcup. Would also be nice to see England to finally win one. Man....I'm very exciting about this!!! Go U.S.A. too!

Hey, I'm pumped for this and have been for quite some time, and so are a lot of my co-workers, so the entire USA won't be refraining from the madness.

This is Soccer time and perhaps Wonderful Braziliana Time!

Brazil defeated yesterday New Zealand 4 : 0 (in their warm-up)

we got plenty of Football madness in the USA: with the bears ranked 8th, SC 7th, the match should be something amazing... and there is Ohio State, Texas, Notre Dame, Auburn and others.

J/K

Go USA! i will be happy so long as they make it to the second round.

And, yes Brazil will win this thing.

Worldwide famous Diego Maradonna (much more famous than B. Bonds)
was kicked out of the competion in the USA'95 World Cup
because of using of some illegal substances.

It was meant to be in the other Poll about Barry Bonds.
Let this be a reminder for all players in the World Cup 2006
that they should not touch any illegal substance!

Computers know much more than we do! Period!!!

On my other thread:

'Poll: Computer Predicts: Czech Rep. Will Defeat Brazil In The Final! Do You Agree?'

I have included computer predictions posted on yahoo.com

... watch for England, Holland, Argentina, Italy and Chech Republic,
and don't forget the USA!

I've read an interview with Ronaldhino who said:
' ... England can potentially win the World Cup'

England is a team of superstars! Only if Rooney could play in the quartefinals?!

I don't think that any of those teams under 'Other' can win! No way!
If you don't agree vote for 'Other'!

Don't be so sure. I think you're underestimating some teams and overestimating others.

Australia drew 1-1 with The Netherlands in a lead-up friendly. Japan's not exactly a push over either. That's just Group F... the main one I'm interested in.
