Well switzerland seemed far far away from winning today. perhaps a draw...

Well Portugal scored all the goals they needed in the qualifiers games... lol

North Korea was outclassed from minute one. Their goalie was clearly inept; he didn't know which way to turn.

Of the celeb teams, Brazil actually played like Brazil. It was a relief. Ivory Coast (and from now on, I'm calling them "Ivory Coast" no matter what they wanna be called) put on a pathetic display. They're out, and good riddance.

I disagree. Even with only ten men left, they gave Chile one hell of a hard time! Switzerland sure had their chances to score, especially at the end of the game. They were the more focused of the two teams IMO. Technically, the Chileans are faster on offense, but Switzerland has much better defense!

Too bad they got so much talent though.

Really? How so?

Because life is not serious in the same way a game is not serious. Games are part of life and life is not something that has an importance in itself - only from our perspectives. Importance is just a creation of our minds. It is imprinted into our brains by nature as a survival tool. Nature itself is blind IMO - it has no emotions, no priorities, no mind as we understand it. It is governed by simple rules which at the most basic level are just interactions between certain particles.

It sure has importance and meaning if you find it important and meaningful. This meaning is a product of your intellect and reflects your complex nature and interactions with the world. But there is no such thing as no importance and meaning in nature's eyes - it's all just interactions between particles to the Mother. It's like Neo looking at the world of matrix after the powers of the One awaken in him - he sees it not like humans do, but like a sequence of 0s and 1s.

How on earth did Greece make the list... I do know they fluked a european championship win but still

....
Netherlands is entertaining to watch but I don´t think they will go all the way this WC either.

The teams with the highest FIFA ranking are listed.

I didn't find the Netherlands entertaining at all, It's highly unlikely that they will winn the world cup nonetheless.

And France should get their act together, this is getting embaressing

Yeah, well they're going home now.

In the local news: "The game will also be broadcast from the Eiffel Tower - probably not the best idea." - lol

LOL...There is importance or there isn't. So men "evolved" from meaningless and unimportant blind "nature"(ie nothing) and yet we somehow now know importance and meaning? LOL...I am doubled over at the absurdity.

Neo is a fictional character in a fictional movie.
