although the Denon AH-D5000 were just slightly under the bar of the Grado's (open v closed I'd assume)
However, bother were soon to be upstaged by the Denon AH-D5000

Denon D2000. I came from the HD555 which was nice (but not more) before i began interesting in Hifi. D2000 had that deeeep bass hd555 missed and very nice 3D effects.
Actual D2000 is only used for films. I almost solely listen to music with K701 and Triple.Fi.
