Hi,
May be this subject have been discussed, so sorry.
I've a Stax Lambda Nova Signature and I found an old SRD7 (for 45€) but in normal bias mode.
Do you know if I change it in Pro bias by changing components, the results will be better ?
With this Stax earspeakers, which amp. is the more adapted ?
I use it with a SV-226 Vincent amp. (2x100W in 8ohms).
Thanks
PS: sorry for my poor english !

SRM-T1s is what I auditioned the lambda on.

I can't believe I remembered that.

Pro bias headphones don't work optimally on low bias energisers. The sound is not as good as what it will be if the board is changed to a high bias board. Ask Spritzer if he has any left.

So I plan to modify my SRD7 low bias into pro Bias by remove the transil diode to obtain 220Vrms (310V peak), and change 1uF 250V into 1uF 400V, and put 1N4007 diode. I should have a pro bias voltage close to 580V.
What do you think about it ?
Thanks
