Where to go next?

Thanks for the great response guys.

I looked at going orthodynamic but it always seemed just slightly out of reach financially.
Sounds like staying with senns might be the right option.

I can't find anywhere to buy spare drivers on the sennheiser website. Are we thinking fleabay here?
Do people sell grilles too?

How hard is it to replace a driver? Presumably, I'm going to have to dig out my soldering iron and grab the araldite.

Call Sennheiser customer support. They have literally every single piece to put together a HD600 or HD650.

I just ordered a pair of HD600 grills, I think they were close to $40 a pair.

The driver is plug and play, you just snap them in.

Call Sennheiser Customer service in the UK and they should be easy to replace without a soldering iron: http://headphonespares.sennheiser.co.uk/hifi-tv-headphones/hd-600-avantgarde#
