Where do you all keep all the knick-knacks (adaptors, foam tips, etc) when not in use?

Hi All,

I had the Q-Jays, but now those are on eBay, since I got my Ultimate Ears Triple Fis!

In any case, with both headphones, there were alternative tips, adaptors, cords, etc. Where do you all usually keep these things when not in use? Curious what "the standard" is. Thanks!

I'm using the hardshell case that came with the Fuze 3-in-1 kit to store my IEMs. The case has a small mesh pocket inside. I keep my extra tips in a tiny plastic bag inside this pocket.

Oh that's cool that there is a little compartment for them. Maybe I'll just buy another case someplace and stick them all in there.

Ziploc bags and paper cups on a bookshelf in the dining room. Really high-class. My wife loves it.

I use the box. That way I know I'll be able to find the extras if I find the box. If I don't leave them in the box, I will likely not find them when I want to.

In the original packaging hidden away so my girlfriend won't find out how much I have been spending on headphones

Extra eartips- separated and put into Ziploc pouches depending on the type (standard single-flange, standard double-flange, EX082/85/90, EX300/500.700/NC300D, etc.)

Whenever storing backup IEM's (EX85, 90, 700, 300D, etc.) I always put the supplied tips in a mini Ziploc Pouch within the pack that I store the backups and their supplied extension cords in).

As for the adapters, they too are separated into individual groups per type (1/8"-to-1/4", airline plug, etc.).

The supplied paperwork, storage pouches and/or hardshell cases are not so much used in order to conserve space in my drawers. Those are stored in a separate box but are not thrown out.

The little boxes that the Yuin earbuds come in.

Otherwise a tin box that was filled with fudge, good smells still.
