The Q701s are dropping gradually in price. It seems that they are worth $230-240 new, and $175-$185 used.
Whereas the K550:

Is worth significantly more.

Whoa what the heck happened in April?  That was quite a jump in price there.  Personally I rather like the lime one, but only because its not available in nuclear orange.

I kind of prefer the lime green one too actually. I found them very odd looking at first but it kind of grew on me. I wouldn't mind owning some Q701s in the future at some point (although not anytime soon).

I bought the Lime Green ones. They just popped to me. I like the color.

Hmm, I wonder if the market fluctuates based on what color it is?  I would think that most people go for black so that would have the highest value in the secondary market... which is good for those of us who would prefer the lime.

Amazon fluctuates based on algorithms having to do with units in stock vs units sold vs inventory etc.  I would not be surprised if the green had times where it was cheaper because of a dearth of people wanting headphones to match the minister of magic's hat.

A friend was offering his Quincy Jones for around $170 to me, they were on a nice condition (no shipping incl)  most of the guys i know love the green color.
