25% Jazz (I'll even admit to listening to some "smooth" jazz like Fourplay)
25% progressive rock & metal (Porcupine Tree, The Mars Volta, Yes; Tool, APC)
20% trance (Armin, PVD, Tiesto up through ISOS 4)
10% electronic (all sorts; Daft Punk, Gold Frapp, Delerium)
10% blues (mostly SRV, Clapton)
10% pop (hey, everyone needs a bit of sugary sweet candy once in a while)

Have never really been exposed to classical, and I despise today's flavor of so-called "country" music...

35% alternative rock/indie rock/punk rock
15% blues/folk/classic rock
10% other (willie nelson, johnny cash, otis redding, marvin gaye, some dnb and trance, ect. stuff that doesn't fit above)

This has turned into a game of percentages. lol
I listen to mostly trance, progressive trance, progressive house, tech house, electronica. Some favorites include: Above & Beyond, Markus Schulz, Paul van Dyk, Sander van Doorn, Thrillseekers, and of course BT (his latest album should be on every audiophile's list).
I also listen to a lot of classic rock & pop rock (everything from Led Zeppelin to David Bowie).

The percentages offer a more accurate representation for the question asked i believe. I hate people who answer "oh i listen to pretty much everything" or the idiot who said "theres 3 types of music country, rap and good music", they are cop out answers, i like the accurate answers

I listen mainly to rock (Cream, Yardbirds, Bruce Springsteen, The Who etc..), blues (Son Seals, SRV, EC, BB, Muddy Waters), jazz (Steely Dan, Diana Krall, and many more), and a little classical (mostly Wagner).

I basically listen to anything I think is good, not particularly picky genre wise.

big ups on Sam Cooke. Great vocalists.

My list of music:

70s punk, new wave, 90s hip hop (some newer and older stuff as well), electronic (Daft punk, Gorillaz, Zoot Woman), Motown, Beatles (is that a genre?), Elvis, 90s alternative, 80s rock, Jazz, pop (80s, 90s, whatever), Radiohead, Rock, and just about everything else in between (I have some country in there somewhere).

I think it'd be better if I told you what I DON'T listen to:

Emocore, hardcore, and anything else with "core" in it. Whatever genre Fallout Boy, Blink 182, and every other "mellow" punk band out there (SPARE NO ONE!) Modern day Southern influenced rap (lil who?, soulja kid, etc.)

Celiene Dion

and

Pretentious Indie Music, the kind you'd play at a get together to drive everyone to extreme boredom ... hipsters and wannabe hipsters ... ugh
