Another Mac owner here. I have a PC, but haven't switched it on since I bought an XBox for gaming.

Mac OS X on my Power Mac G5

Dual boot Mac OS X and Windows XP on my Macbook Pro

Dual boot Ubuntu Linux Windows XP Table Edition on my Motion Computing LE 1600 Tablet PC

Mac OS X on my Powerbook G4

I voted Mac because it is the operating system that I use oabout 95% of the time. Also, if I had to choose a single operating system, I would choose Mac OS X and would never miss Windows (or Linux since I can run most Linux programs on Mac OS X!).

Max OSX 10.5 on two laptops and an iMac. Windows XP SP-3 on an older laptop. All the new stuff is OSX.

I run a mix of Windows XP (desktop, one laptop), Windows 2000 (another laptop and an old desktop), CentOS 4 (a file/VPN server and an Asterisk box), and Ubuntu (MythTV systems plus dual-boot with the XP desktop).

Having encountered Vista at work (nothing like having to tweak the registry to get it to talk to the file servers, and that's just the tip of the iceberg), I firmly belong to the "Vista: No Way In Hell" Club.

I have used Linux as my only OS for the last 13 years. I have settled on Debian for its excellent apt/dpkg package manager and its non-commercial nature.

My custom USB Linux music server running on a single board computer is host to Voyage Linux, a Debian variant. The desktop runs Debian Sid/Unstable. My Nokia N800 (which controls the miusic serer via Wi-Fi) runs a modified Debian Linux distribution. My laptop runs Debian Sid as well.

Xp and I'm pretty sure I'm never going to 'upgrade' to vista. I just hate what they tried to do with it. I have no idea where the spent their budget but it wasn't on ease of use or efficiency. It was probably marketing over the OS itself. I'm sticking to Xp until they decide to release a serious OS.
