One of these is not like the others.

Each night, I perform a ritual purification after using XP. I don't want to pass along bad OS cooties when I get home. I like the four *years* of uptime on the Linux box.

Still hoping for four hours of uptime on the XP machine.

I picked Mac on the poll because I've used it since 1987 and have been an Apple user since 1978 or so. Only been with Linux since 2002.

I've been on Vista Ultimate for a while now. But I still might go back to XP Pro someday. I don't understand why so many people hate Windows. Well, actually I do. You just have to be smart when you use it. I think it requires a lot more thinking to keep it nice and neat than Mac OSX. Windows is volatile, dangerous, highly customizable, and plays games lol. Its my kind of OS ...for now.

Vista here, because after it hangs a little when booted.. it's very responsive and it after using Linux, OSX86 and XP..
I just want something with some eyecandy and something familiar.

Linux and Vista dual boot for me.

About the only thing I use Vista for now is photography stuff (Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop CS4 and Nikon Capture). Everything else I've moved accross to Ubuntu 8.10 over the past few months.

Linux most of the time for me. Vista 64 is on the laptop as well, I dont have any issues with Vista other than the 64bit version does not work with my remote login client software for work.
