What is the best PS2 game so far?

Seriously? I found him to be quite easy, he can be taken down in one or two hits. (if you have the 9999 damage limiter removed) IIRC, I hit him once with a normal attack then followed up with blitz ace.

Yeah, I found the final boss way too easy if anything. Yuna & Lulu + Holy + Doublecast + break damage limit = th3 win in like 2 hits.

Personally I liked Xenosaga a lot...but I do enjoy a good space scifi story so I guess it just happened to be up my alley. And to this day I still think Suikoden III had one of the most amazing storylines ever. One of the few RPGs where I played it as much as I could to advance the storyline, and not just play it just to play.

Depsite the repetitiveness of it, I still find the Dynasty Warrior series to be fun. There's just something about the simplicity of charging out alone amongst thousands and bashing people's heads in by the hundreds. Particularly effective after a long day of work.

Dynasty Warriors is great. Samurai Warriors was pretty fun too, but somehow not as good...

I played FFXI for awhile off my JP playstation before the NA version came out and the servers went global. Memories...

SMT: Nocturne and Atelier Iris are on the top of my list. I'm currently playing through Dragon Quest VIII, which at this point doesn't quite make the running but is very good nonetheless.

I was away on vacation during Black Friday so I missed out on the sweet deals :P Been meaning to get Snake Eater too.

You're free to borrow mine, but you gotta promise to be good to Tidus and Yuna okay?

Yeah I agree. It took me two hits with tidus and he died. It was way too easy in my opinion. But I did max out tidus and yuna's sphere grids and spent over 120 hours on the game leveling up. That is definitely my favorite game for ps2. I can't wait for FFXII to come out.

1. rez (if you can find it)
- graphics, music, gameplay, unique
2. devil may cry 1
- gameplay, gameplay, gameplay
3. ico
- graphics, story
4. ratchet and clank (all)
- graphics, humor, gameplay
5. burnout 3
- gameplay
6. jak & daxter (all)
- graphics, gameplay

is rez worth it? it's short but the most intense couple of hours on the ps2 you'll ever have. plus the secrets and repeat gameplay add value.

I'd agree with RedShifter ...

I have Rez and it's the best ... especially when you're playing with some headphones. I've zoned out many times playing that game. I've also tried it with it's special USB accessory (putting it underneath my couch pillows and also on a few of my female friends) and that thing moves to the bass. That thing moves violently when you progress further into teh stages too!

I'd also have to give a nod to all my music games too:
Frequency
Amplitude
Gitaroo Man
Mad Maestro
Taiko Drum Master

and my new favorite: GUITAR HERO!!!!!

Yeah, I got 100% on everything. Took me several hours to do it but man ... it's so nice when you're in a dark room and playing with some headphones on. Synaesthesia bliss.
