Deal one was for a Custom built Pimeta headphone amp. The deal went off without a hitch. Throughout the process Sleepkyng was courteous outgoing and kept the onslaught of questions to a minimum. The payment was prompt and I made a new friend along the way.
Deal two was a trade of a Modded ART DIO plus DIY interconnects for a Marantz 2226B.
The Marantz was damaged in transit and came to the door DOA.
When I opened the unit for inspection I found a rather nasty surprise left over from the previous owner. Once the power switch was repaired the unit functioned well.
The pots are all clean and static free and once I replaced all of the caps the unit performs great. He was more worried about the damage then I was. And as compensation for the damage Adrian even went so far as to buy a Service manual for the 2226b.
There was one glitch on my end however, A shipping delay from my supplier caused a delay in my shipping the cables. Throughout the process Adrian was his usual classy self and even offered a cash settlement for the whole marantz thing..... that was an unexpected gesture.
In short... I would not hesitate to trade with him again.
