Ok we have a thread up of the best first song on any album.....What about the opposite

I have to pick the Beatles - A Day In the Life (Concluding track of Sgt Pepper) I know that choice is cliche, but come on......it's obviously one of the 3 or 4 best choices.

Honorable mentions:
The Who - Who's Next - "Won't Get Fooled Again"
The Doors - The Doors - "The End"
The Beatles - Revolver - "Tomorrow Never Knows"
Bob Dylan - Highway 61 - "Desolation Row"
Lynyrd Skynyrd - Debut - "Free Bird"
Jimi Hendrix - Electric Ladyland - "Voodoo Chile (Slight Return)
The Rolling Stones - Let It Bleed - "You Can't Always Get What You Want"
Miles Davis - Kind Of Blue - "Flamenco Sketches"
The Beach Boys - Pet Sounds - "Caroline No"
The Doors - LA Woman - "Riders On The Storm"
Jimi Hendrix - Axis: Bold As Love - "Bold As Love"
The Who - Quadrophenia - "Love Reign O'er Me"
Pink Floyd - Dark Side Of The Moon - "Brain Damage / Eclipse"
The Beatles - Let It Be - "Get Back"
Led Zeppelin - Houses Of The Holy - "The Ocean"
The Moody Blues - Days Of Future Past - "Nights In White Satin
King Crimson - The Court Of The Crimson King - "In The Court Of The Crimson King"
Nirvana - In Utero - "All Apologies"
Led Zeppelin - IV - "When The Levee Breaks"
Elton John - Goodbye Yellow Brick Road - "Harmony"
Steely Dan - Aja - "Josie"
Stevie Wonder - Talking Book - "When I Fall In Love (It Will Be Forever)"
The Who - Tommy - "We're Not Gonna Take It"

"Wall of Death" from Shoot Out The Lights by Richard and Linda Thompson

Maybe the best example of their "medeival hard rock" vibe. Hard guitars, vocal harmonies that send shivers down your spine, and one of Richard Thompson's best "short, sharp, shock" guitar solos. A rousing, scary finish to one of the greatest albums of all time.

Lots of great choices so far, especially "You Can't Always Get What You Want", "A Day In The Life", "Lenny" and "Wall of Death". Since those have already been mentioned, I'm picking the Stones' "Slipping Away" off Steel Wheels. When I first heard it, I thought "Well, that's it. That's the last song on the last album. Keith couldn't have written that unless he knew it was the end of the band." All that was missing was the sound of someone turning out the lights at the end of the song. I guess I was wrong - they've been pretty active since 1989. Who would've thought they had 20 more years in them?

You can correct the title. We have the technology. You can make it better, clearer, (um) preciser.

I've been wondering the same thing. I just tried it with one of my recent threads, and it's not hard.

Go to your OP. Click "Edit" as if you were going to edit the post. From the Edit screen, click "Go Advanced." That should present you with an editable field for the thread title above the normal edit box for the post. Make your change(s) and then save as usual.

I think this is a recent development, courtesy of the most recent sw upgrade; the "Go Advanced" button is part of the upgrade, AFAIK.

P.S. You can, of course, preview your change before you save.
P.S.S. I have way too much time on my hands.

"Hikari no Tabi ~Classical New Version~"

From the DBZ 18 1/2 Special Remix.

Also, the best way to change thread titles is to simply click near the thread's title on the main forum screen. A mini edit box will open and you can change the title from there.
