I've owned the Denon C700's and the Atrio M5's. Loved the sound on both of them, but had to return them for a refund due to defects.

I'm using Marshmallows now. I love the isolation, but need a pair with better clarity to them. What would you buy on Amazon with a $75 gift card if you needed an upgrade?

Probably the Nuforce NE-8.

If I wanted a bit more bass and maybe mic/iPhone support, the NE-7M.

That or the Etymotic ER6i.

I'm waiting for Christmas turkey to be ready so I'm hitting Ctrl+R regularly.

NE-7M gets my vote.

And for the record, Er-6i's totally fail in my opinion due to anemic bass. All the detail in the world can't compensate for the complete lack of a bottom end.

True enough about the ER6i, which is why I have my HF5 (the "super" ER6i).

Great high end with just enough low end that I can stand to turn off EQ most of the time (Although sometimes I give a couple dB boost in the right places).

They aren't IEM's but I'd get them over any true IEM's in your price range.

Yuin PK2

Amazon.com: Yuin Pk2 Earphones: Electronics

Methinks they will own any pair of 75.00 IEMS.

But that's just me so do carry on, sir.
