As predicted, the Sennheiser Unipolar 2000. Enjoying the sound, but worried about the combination of high voltage, old electronics, and extensive modding strapped around the head.

No matter how many times I've read about and seen pictures of the Unipolar 2000, it's so different in name from familiar Sennheiser nomenclature that the first image that comes to my head when I read about it is the Surrounder.

(the HE60 IS my favorite can to date - - truly reflects the Orpheus standard ! )
