What headphones are you currently rocking?

Koss Ruk50 and a progressive house mix. I don't miss the PRO900 one bit.

I didn't even take a look at them until you mentioned the colors; I just assumed they were vintage kit I'd never heard of.

Wow...

Pink ones or the blue ones... :D

I actually ordered the pink ones on Black Friday, because they had the biggest sale (I think they were $34, the others were in the mid-40s), but Amazon goofed and I got the purple ones. I'm not even mad, because:

A) The pink and purple ones have the *SAME* model number, so I have no idea how they expect to dispatch the right one (seriously, whoever came up with that is a GENIUS)
B) I really don't care about the color, I wanted to hear them, and I wanted to pay as little as possible

Honestly I think they look sort of sharp, in a Lisa Frank kind of way.

And they absolutely deliver the goods, and honestly after hearing them, I really don't care WHAT they look like. :)

I love Koss, but I can't tell if you mean what you say...

What do you mean?

I think they're a very good sounding pair of headphones, both at their price, and overall. I'd basically summarize them as the PRO900 for people who don't want to spend $300+. :D

They're kind of wild looking, and I think that's probably their only real fault (given their price). If Koss were to re-design them to look more like the ATH-M50 or MDR-V6 (they're similarly shaped to pull it off, if they were just flat black), they'd probably be overnight hits. :xf_eek:

Nothing that a little of this wouldn't take care of...

They probably sound great, but I jumped on the S500 hype train and it's a slow boat from Japan... Hopefully this Week!

This week I've been alternating between classic 60's rock and current ambient/dubstep with my recently purchased HeadAmp KGSS and my
Sennheiser HE60 (Baby Orpheus) and Stax SR-007 Omega II Mk 1 . . ahhh! audio nirvana!

The AKG K 314 again, listening to a video lecture on stress. And browsing the internet.

Anticipating head-time for the Unipolar 2000 and Yamaha HP-50S later tonight.

As predicted, the Sennheiser Unipolar 2000. Enjoying the sound, but worried about the combination of high voltage, old electronics, and extensive modding strapped around the head.
