Yep, but now I'm taking a hard look at the Vali 2. It never ends.:atsmile:

Seems like a nice added amp, though you would hold onto the Asgard ya?

Hi goodyfresh, using the gun metal filters. Just received the medium sized foam tips from Trinity. Absolutely love these iems.

I thought as well that the Deltas were just about the best IEM's available in their price-range, until I discovered a VERY LITTLE-KNOWN GEM of the IEM world, the Puro Sound Labs IEM 500. They typically go for $130 on Amazon last I checked, but I got mine for a special limited-time deal on Divvy for only $50, and they are AMAZING.  Signature a good bit more NEUTRAL than any of the available tunings of the Delta, with tighter more controlled bass that still digs deep and gets powerful when needed.

You can go check out my review of them if you are interested, I also compare them in the review to the Shure SE215 and to the Deltas.

They're still available for super-duper cheap (just not as low as $50 anymore) over on Divvy, complete with manufacturer warranty and all: http://www.shopdivvy.com/products/puro-sound-labs-iem500-studio-grade-in-ear-monitors-with-dual-dynamic-drivers    Seriously, read my review of them, they are amazing, very little-known IEM's :)  Out of all my current stuff (Alpha Dogs, VE Monks, Sony MDR-1A, Sony MDR-100AAP, Trinity Delta, Shure SE215, and Puro IEM500) I would say that IMO, I get the second-best sound of all from the Puro IEM500's (the best, of course, is the Alpha Dogs).

One thing to note:  The included tips that come with the IEM500's do kind of suck.  You have to stretch them out a bit at first to get them to fit properly, then push them down real hard to get them on snugly, but I was able to get the silicone tips from the Deltas onto the IEM500's, and achieved a much better seal that way.

WA7 > HD800

Insanely pleasing to the eyes and ears for me. Can't wait to change the tubes and also hear how the a TH-X00 pairs with it when I grab a pair. I'm probably going to get the tube power supply unit sometime down the road.

RSA Raptor---> Fostex TH-X00

The Raptor drives the even the low impedance Fostex in a most satisfying manner. An excellent combination for my taste.
