Thanks good to know... the stretching probably adds to the sound as it is a thinner cover (stretched).

Hmm I see I opened a can of worms but I'm sticking to it I think my iGrados sound as good as my (former) 800 dollar Linn Tukan bookshelf speakers (which had NO bass but great mids and treble) or my current Phase tech PC-80 speakers (600 when new got em' for 12 dollars at a thrift store HA). Note this is of course to my ears, YMMV, etc.

Def that.... I've had mine for 4-5 years and still dig 'em for workouts.... still recommend 'em for those seeking good portable sound under $40.

Love the iGrados, but still its too expensive for the UK. Just got the KSC75 and it still, for me, doesnt compare to the iGrados.

Expensive in the UK as in about $70 US in UK. Well all i need to do now is get the cables fixed and probably let the KSC75 collect dust, although its not bad, i still like the iGrado sound much better.
