What do you like on your steaks?

My wife has a degree in food science. Her famous saying:

Two Laws of Food Science:
1) Fat tastes good.
2) Salt makes fat taste better.

Some steak rub, slap it on the grill, eat.

Personally, I think the quality of the meat makes a bigger difference than what you put on it.

hehe not too far from me, I myself like a nice dry rub, but almost all of my steaks are marinated with something.

Fried mushrooms and onions. Generally no sauce, though sometimes A1 or 57, can't remember which one I like better...

When I lived in Argentina, I loved chimichurri on my steaks. Now that I am in AZ, I just use A1 sauce or mushrooms. I really do miss gnocchis, alfajores, media lunas and the siesta.

Oh, and dulce de leche.

I love mushrooms on the side with a steak. Not into A1, I'm a Worcestershire sauce guy, if I use anything at all. (Lea & Perrins only)

I broil or grill my steak with no seasoning whatsoever then lightly salt as I eat.

I'm of the opinion that if you need something on your steak you need better meat.
